Director's Notes

Dear Students & Parents,
Ready, set, go......another exciting year of making music together!
I'm anxious to begin and am looking forward to see you all soon.

The fall semester is jam packed with great music and fun activities for all members of the choir family to enjoy......you won't want to miss a minute.

We will make every effort to keep you up‐to‐the‐minute informed thru emails from the choir and show choir liaisons as well as posting info on the website. The Google calendar on our website will be changing (times, dates, etc) so please be sure to check it frequently for updated information.

Please be sure to check the choir calendar for mandatory concert dates.

I encourage all parents to become involved in cap+s, our booster organization. What a great group of parents who do so much to enhance the program we are able to offer your sons and daughters. You'll want to be part of making it all happen. We meet the second Tuesday of each month in the Faculty Lounge at 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome!

Our first big event of the year is the Fall Gala, our fashion/entertainment show, on Sunday, November 6 (mark your calendar now). It's a wonderful afternoon showcasing the students as singers and models. Coupled with an amazing silent auction and raffle, it is quite the gala and you won't want to miss it. This is such a popular event that each year we fill the Cotillion Banquet Hall with over 500 guests (dads too!).

We're very excited to have the opportunity to sing at Symphony Center (Orchestra Hall) on Friday, March 16 at 8 PM. All choir students will participate. The Band and Orchestra will also perform on this concert. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform on a professional stage and is a mandatory performance so please mark your calendars accordingly. We will preparing for this concert throughout the year and will be presenting very challenging selections.

My goal is to help your sons and daughters develop their choral singing as well as a lifelong appreciation for all types of music.
